Great for the expat
I live in the UK and Irish radio is only available via satellite. So this podcast is a nice way to keep in touch with an Irish viewpoint. The program is edited and thankfully we don't have to listen to the ads. But we do have to listen to the weather and traffic. Not very relevant if you're in another country and certainly not relevant to the people in Ireland who only get this program the next day. Some more editing is needed or the program shoudl be made available almost immediately after radio broadcast? That all said, thanks RTE, any more????Read full review »

its news of the day, if it is not ready to download the same day there is no point. I can understand a few hours to get it ready to go but anything more than a few hours makes it an auto delete

Never break any stories, and all talk in monotone voices in an attempt to sound more authoritative. If there weren’t less ad breaks than on Newstalk I’d switch for sure.
