I’ve been on the journey with Running On Purpose for some time. Content delivered by Steve is something you won’t find elsewhere. One advice if I may: Just be patient with it. Take little by little to think about and experiment in your running. Next you’ll notice, you want more because you will...Read full review »

Steve and Jeff bore deep into racing tactics and the personalities & achievements of the athletes without being boring or trivial. The interview with Dick Beardsley is the best interview of an athlete from any sport that I’ve heard . Dick shared intricate details of his race strategy &...Read full review »

I listen to lots of running/endurance podcasts, and Steve’s stuff has always been in my playlists, but his latest series with Jeff has really taken this to another level. Each one is better than the last, and their interaction is getting to be so smooth and natural. Every time I open my podcast...Read full review »

I absolutely love this podcast! When I need some space to myself, I put my running shoes on and head out the door with my headphones on. Sometimes I feel like the presenters are talking to me directly but I know they are preaching to hundreds and hundreds of other followers as well! This podcast...Read full review »

Steve is a terrific coach, and full of ideas and creativity. He discusses topics that range from rudimentary to cutting edge, and makes all of them interesting even if you’ve thought about or talked about something 1,000 times. He is open to changing his mind and his methods, and even admits that...Read full review »

Too inconsistent in delivery. Appears when Sisson can be bothered I guess. He keeps saying weekly but it vanishes for months on end. And who’s the cohost? Is she an athlete of his but she seems to be giving coaching advice. Is she qualified ? Why is she there? What’s her purpose? It’s a...Read full review »

Steve is a treasure trove of running wisdom. He was the brain behind a running podcast which is now famous, but which has not reached anywhere near its original content and impact since Steve left. Looks like Steve is on track to bring that magic to this podcast.

Great to see Steve back doing his thing. After a bit of a shakey start, things settled down and Steve found his rhythm. Some great advice for new and experienced runners and there are some gold nuggets in this podcast, so stick with it and i’m sure you won’t regret it. Top work and looking...Read full review »

Steve goes beyond the x’s and o’s of running. He hits the mental and physiology parts of running, the ones that consist of the other half of running. He has extensive knowledge and his passion for the sport comes out in colorful ways. Having been a runner at the elite level and now a coach he has...Read full review »

I’ve learned so much from Steve’s podcasts, and really can’t wait for what is to come! I’m thankful that he’s back at it, and have already “hit subscribe” to Running on Purpose. You’ll be doing yourself a great service if you subscribe as well.
