...compels me! Five stars for the crazy Canadian who sometimes uses Irish slang. Everyone loves Sabbath, right?

I often revisit certain Black Sabbath albums on this excellent podcast. I especially enjoyed Ry’s overview of the Black Sabbath’s mid 80’s wilderness years. I first got into Black Sabbath when Ronnie James Dio was the lead singer following his impressive tenure with Ritchie Blackmore in Rainbow....Read full review »

My fav music pod, host is amazing, the format is top.

This guy is a natural podcaster. He does it by himself, discusses each song from the album, and peppers the whole thing with lots of great stories about the band. I never really followed the band after Dio, but I’m thoroughly enjoying the episodes that chronicle the lesser known albums from the...Read full review »

Ry does an excellent job of going through the Sabbath and Ozzy catalogue providing brutally honest assessments of what he hears, whether good or bad. A passionate man which is the reason this is so good. I don't always agree with Ry but isn't that best way? I love Sabbath and what's...Read full review »

Such a life-affirming podcast - a great, passionate, empathic and expert journey through the years, work, personalities and stories of Black Sabbath and Ozzy. The vibe is laid-back, and the episodes are made for a binge. Great laughs, great takes, great stories, great music.

Rare is the time when the voice alone keeps you coming back. This guy could make non podcast fans into fans which is an impressive order since obviously he can also make non Black Sabbath fans into fans.

This has been a great companion for discovering the overlooked material in the sabbath catalog. Headless cross and eternal idol will be getting rotations beyond just following along here. I look forward to going back and revisiting all of the old classics I’m familiar with as well as the ozzy...Read full review »

If you are a Sabbath fan this show is an absolute must listen. Excellent podcast with well researched and entertaining content.

It’s been a great ride going through all eras/episodes. It’s one of the best deep dive podcasts, where you enjoy the less stellar chapters (seventh star, tyr) as much as the highly celebrated ones (Vol 4, sabbath bloody sabbath). I hope to hear more offerings from this guy, he’s a great...Read full review »

Well done raw informative and funny podcast. If your not in the know or a OG metal fan you’ll dig cuz before Sabbath there was none. Thanks for the name drop Fathoming Heavy podcast! Cheers keep up the good work!

Highly personal take on Black Sabbath. It’s even better when the host listens to ”newer” albums that he’s not really that familiar with. Great fun and informative!

If you are a Sabbath fan - anywhere from hardcore to casual, this is a MUST listen! He gives honest opinions on each album and not just what is popular. You will find this podcast both informative and FUNNY! Put it this way, I quit drinking in 1995 and I want to have a beer with him!

This show is incredible. The host’s style is very laid back and mixes in tons of humor with facts about the band as well as his honest opinions on the work of the band. I binged these episodes very quickly and looking forward to the episodes to come!

Hey brother just a quick note. You are one of six other podcasts I keep up with. And never feel alone in your edit suite man. There are tons of us Supernauts out here! I’m 58 years of age and have seen Sabbath countless times, somewhere in the “teens.” It’s my religion dude, or to be specific,...Read full review »

I found out about this podcast a month or so ago when Blasko or the Zakk Sabbath Instagram page shouted it out. Boy, am I glad I gave it a listen. I am about seven episodes in and I am hooked. I've always been a big Sabbath fan, but I never realized there was so much I didn't know about...Read full review »

Really enjoying this podcast, I didn’t realise how much of a sabbath fan I was. I’m currently digging into all the episodes with joy... and DOOM !

Although this is not as slick, flashy and well produced as other podcasts it’s told from the viewpoint of a true fan. I enjoy this thoroughly especially the earlier Sabbath year’s all the way up to the DIo years.

The best music podcast (I'm a musician and I listen to many different ones - there are other great ones out there, e.g. Metal Up Your Podcast, AlphaMetallica, Digital Men, Rig Rundown, et al), particularly if you like hard rock/metal (and of course, given the title/subject matter, Black...Read full review »

This guy does a fantastic, funny and detailed rundown of the Ozzy years of Sabbath! The Under The Influence shows are great as well, where he talks about some other amazing bands, like Faith No More and Black Label. Check out his show!

Sabbath is one of my favorite bands, and it was always a bummer that no one had done a podcast on them (not that I could find, anyway). I was elated to discover Sabbath Bloody Podcast. It is fun, the host has a lot of love for the band and he is absolutely hilarious. Highly, highly recommended.

Decided to listen to this in order to gain a bit or information on Sabbath, and wasn’t disappointed. I’ve never claimed to be the greatest fan in terms of knowledge, but I feel genuinely well informed. Keep it up

Clint here from MUYP. I love this show. As someone who recently took the deep plunge into Sabbath, I dig that it feels like I'm on a journey with the host through the history and the records. About time a Black Sabbath podcast appeared! The host has a loose, easygoing style that feels like he’s having a humorous conversation with you about the Sab Four. He’s got some work to do as he’s not familiar with the full Ozzy era of the band as well as having no knowledge of anything Sabbath...Read full review »
