“I listened to the inaugural collaboration episode between the Sanity podcast and Dr. Allison Harvey, and found it very helpful. I listened to this on apple podcast, but also noticed the episodes are on YouTube and Spotify. Through the questions that were being asked, it really expressed the importance of sleep and how it affects every part of your life. Finding the correct amount of sleep, a good circadian rhythm in relation to sleep schedule and a balanced schedule will allow you to physically, emotionally, and mentally be ready for your day. It also had some factors to keep in mind that also affect the body and sleep schedule such as dimming lights before bed, eating at the same time each day, and going to sleep/waking up at the same time everyday. This really taught me that with a very balanced schedule I will feel more energized throughout my day.”
