Congratulations on a great series on AI! It was an excellent listen and entertaining introduction to the world of AI. I highly recommend it to other listeners.

One of at least the top 5 regularly broadcast podcasts I listen to. Sometimes the episode titles and descriptions are a turn off, as they tend to be teasery rather than informative. Some of the episodes blurbs threaten to be a bit “worthy” or “woke” even for me. But everyone episode I listen to...Read full review »

Loved, the mighty fly army, and have sent it on to most Of my friends, and members of my family. Bravo

Just listened to prison for protesting. Absolutely no use of science. Simply a mouthpiece for the protestors. Soft questioning. I heard nothing except justifications for the protestors side. No argument at all presented for why the jail sentence was so high. A complete misuse of the platform.

Would be a much better platform if so many of the guests didn’t voice fry. It is off putting to say the least.

I just enjoy so much listening to this podcast produced by ABC I find the host questioning line and commentary really interesting, if you are into science or want to learn more about scientific topics/history most probably this podcast is for you.

• EPISODE: “Mike’s Miracle at Lightening Ridge”, in which we hope “lightening” doesn’t strike twice.

Really enjoying the topics. I appreciate Natalia’s input but she speaks so quickly & with such a strong accent that I can’t decipher what she’s saying.

I’ve listened to half a dozen episodes, hoping the series wld improve. Sadly it hasn’t. I guess some listeners may enjoy the gushy presentation and the weak-minded content. For me, it’s a yawn.

Provides a fascinating insight into a range of topics from a diversity of people and experiences. Also beautifully narrated - effortless listening.

This show is very left of center on politics. If you are ok with this then no big deal, but you have to ask is there room for politics in science. Full disclosure is that I typically vote conservative. However I am very open minded and I feel I have a good grasp of both sides as my political...Read full review »

This is my absolute favorite science podcast. Its inclusion of women and the female perspective often spark tears of joy or leave me feeling high for days. I wish there was an episode every day. Treat yourself! This show is better than chocolate.

A great podcast showcasing some very innovative women in science but the show notes are seriously lacking. Some more biographical information about your guests and links to the papers you are talking about would really add to your show

Most episodes are very good, and when they’re very good the episodes are among the best podcasts in the English speaking world! The Sum of All Parts is fascinating, intriguing and entertaining. Brilliant! Thank you to the creators of this particular episode and of the podcast generally!

A truly captivating show for scientists and non-scientists alike. Natasha Mitchell asks great questions, doesn’t shy away from tough topics, and very engaging to listen to.

There’s lots of science shows out there but what sets this one apart is the sheer enthusiasm of its host, its phenomenal sound design (music, sound effects, aural immersion, etc.), and the incredible diversity among episodes. You seriously never know what topic Science Friction will look at next,...Read full review »

This content is incredible but please GOD stop with the random underscore noises- far from enhancing mood, its distracting and incredibly annoying. Example- the high pitched hum (a horror sound track?) in the drug trial episode.
arty_mess via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 01/22/18
Very much enjoying hearing the back stories to some interesting science

I like the content, but the sound effects are too loud and distracting. As someone with hearing loss I find this makes the podcast very hard to listen to

Science for non-scientists, concentrating on controversy. Natasha Mitchell is thorough, engaging and curious. I've subscribed to many science podcasts and this is the one I keep returning to. Fascinating.Read full review »

These programs are really interesting but I do wonder if the creators listen to them before uploading, the music is not only distracting from very interesting topics but it's often FAR louder than the person speaking to the point of making it difficult to understand what is being said....Read full review »
