Decent topics; inept host
Science podcasts (from Scientific American, Nature, Discovery News, Johns Hopkins) are a true blessing and make my exercise routines almost bearable. This NPR program covers some interesting topics each week, but Ira Flatow has got to be -- even after years of doing the show -- the most oafishly inept host in the business: dumb questions, pathetic atempts at humor, and a standard response to every answer, consisting of a barely audible, impatient grunt before hurrying on to his next question.
