“I first discovered this program while milking 35 goats on a farm in Vermont on a saturday night, not my usual shift. It was cold, the goats were wiley, I wanted to be by my wood stove. Then selected shorts came on the radio! And my whole night was transformed into an evening of storytelling by wonderful voices written by some of my favorite authors. Now that there is a podcast I can enjoy stories by Murakami or Cynthia Ozick and keep my calm while milking goats all the time. It's become sort of a habit.
