“This show feels a lot like getting a drink with my most interesting friends. There are so many laughs and excellent insights and moments that make you go, “Oh wow.” But add me to the chorus of people who are frustrated with the sound quality. I’m listening to the “Break-ups” episode and both speakers literally go from whispering to screaming with laughter, really frequently, so I feel like I’m missing a quarter of the jokes because I can’t change the sound volumes quickly enough to hear what’s being said without having a very loud laugh blow out my ears. O’Donoghue especially loves to deliver her cattiest jokes sotto voce, and I’m always bummed when I simply have to miss one of her excellent burns, because I can’t hear it.”
