“I’ve listened to 3 episodes, on 1.5 speed.
Pros- fine if you want something to listen to for a general chat about finances to pass an hour or so.
Con: for absolute novices and beginners. Really, the advice is so basic, general, vague and or nebulous to be useless on a practical personal finance level. Even though it’s an American podcast, you would be better off listening to the Dave Ramsey show.
Con: if you want to listen to two or three people have a general chit chat about their lives and how personal finance has affected them, with little actionable advice, facts or stats, that’s fine, it’s almost like a chat show. However the girl doesn’t have the best voice for ‘radio’ so to speak, it’s shrill, vocal fry with upspeak and what I assume a Toronto inflection, grating to listen to. The two male contributors although seemingly level headed, will talk back and forth with each other in conversation in dull effeminate voices, will take several minutes to make a vague point, and I haven’t heard any actionable advice from any of them.”
