I’m convinced we would have less cold cases with deep dives like this. Few podcasts blow me away anymore because they’re easy to produce and lack commitment. This podcast isn’t just doing it for the fame, they care about Josh. What a tremendous work for a first timer.

What happened to this show? No new episodes?

SV is distinctive because the host is a seasoned litigation attorney. He knows how to get people to agree talk about difficult topics, and how to ask the right questions to bring forward details that might actually advance a case like Josh Guimond's. It's not a slick piece of journalism,...Read full review »

I want to like and listen to this show but the disparity in volume between speakers is almost unbearable. I find I have to turn my audio up and down to be able to hear and within speakers audio can fade in and out too.

Bring back Josh, that’s what got me hooked on the first season. No offense but don’t enjoy the woman’s delivery.
BDSam385 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/22/23
What happened to three year old abandoned Ben? Josh is a natural. Maybe you could help your sidekick with less speed reading and more empathetic delivery. Throw the podcast in reverse and recreate the success of the first season.
SraightEdge via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/17/23
Cathy’s flat speed reading is not right for a podcast. Josh should be doing it instead, as in the early Guimond episodes that were so well done.
cabaca121 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/14/23
No offense, but Cathy you sound like you’re reading a school report in front of a class. Joshua has a natural smooth pitch that is so easy in the ears. Content AND Delivery is a critical part of why I like a podcast. I’m real close to switching the channel.

As a small town MN gal this podcast hits close to home. Host Josh brings so much empathy and knowledge to this over looked case. The production is top notch. Everything from the audio quality to the intro and ending songs are stellar. Host Josh has a great voice that was made for audio and does...Read full review »

I listened to the Josh Guimond episodes in about 2 days. The amount of effort put into this project is astounding. The host is a good narrator, easy to listen to, and you can tell he is genuine in wanting to help Josh’s family. As someone from Minnesota, it’s so interesting to hear the accounts...Read full review »

I’m a one episode per case kind of gal and rarely ever get into full seasons bc I think they end up getting filled with useless information and red herrings simply to fill up time and make more episodes… but after Ed from Unfound recommended this podcast I thought I’d check it out. I enjoyed your...Read full review »

Really hoping to make contact with you about a friend who went missing in 2019. I want someone to cover this and try to find out what happened.

Yet another podcast that focuses on missing white folks…
jipjopflop via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/13/22
Joshua’s sincerity and humanity is evident in while sharing these missing persons’ cases - and it’s clear he has a real desire to bring attention to them. I admire his obvious commitment. Joshua added a co-host/new producer to the Jackie Cary case. COUNTLESS “umms”, “uhh’s” and “actually’s” -...Read full review »

Josh and Cathy seem to have heard our feedback. The second episode in the current episode format is way better than the first. I am liking the format better than I thought I would, although I love the full season approach and am already anxiously anticipating the next one.

This is a good listen! Host does a nice job and is very respectful of the the family and friends involved. 2 minor suggestions: The music at the end of episodes is not good and really feels out of place with this podcast. Some of the episodes feel disjointed. No continuity from one episode to...Read full review »

Why have a co-host if you’re going to keep interrupting her when she’s trying to explain things? Also, is it a known fact that Jackie is a drug user? May want to clear that up for the listeners because it was not mentioned at all except by her friend, Kevin.

The first case was done pretty well for a new podcast. The latest episode is difficult to listen to. The MANY verbalized pauses made it so I couldn’t finish. It would be helpful to have a script instead of having an unscripted conversation.

So disappointed in the new format and host. Lost me as a listener.

A great and we’ll researched podcast but my favourite part is the factual and level presenting by the host. It doesn’t feel dramatized and in my opinion seemed to maintain an unbiased approach to all avenues of investigation. Hoping for some answers for Josh and his family soon

The host doesn’t seem to fully have the journalistic skill for this podcast. The writing needs to be refined. Sometimes it’s hard to listen to, it’s so cringey. But the story is intriguing.

I just watched Unsolved Mysteries about Joshua. I immediately found your podcast and listened to every episode. I’m so glad that this young man’s story is getting out and still being investigated, even if by the general public. What is crazy to me is that all of the other incidents that happened in and around campus, we were never told about it! I was a year younger than Josh, going to St. Ben’s at the time. It was scary that he disappeared and at the time still not knowing what happened to Jacob Wetterling. I walked...Read full review »

I love listening along as anyone digs deep and investigates a case. This has been a very interesting podcast thus far and is very well done. Great investigative efforts and excellent retelling, interviews, etc. Hopefully this can help Josh Guimond’s case progress toward some answers.

I’m sure the host has a genuine desire to solve this terrible crime and I commend him for taking the story up, but the show really needs an actual journalist to do some of the legwork and writing. The series started strong, but It’s basically turned into story time of all the freaky stuff that...Read full review »

but became a little duller over time. It's a bit slow-paced, and I prefer narrative podcasts to those with lots of interviews. I got through the first season, but it went downhill for me.Read full review »

I got hooked on this story immediately after episode 1 but it’s so inconsistent! I thought new episodes were supposed to come out bi-weekly?

The work that has gone into this is amazing to me. I listen to a lot of podcasts and this is one of the most compelling and done with respect and is of the highest quality. I am so hoping that Josh’s family and friends can have some resolution.

I wish there was an episode every week not every two weeks. I lose momentum with enjoying a fantastic episode and then having to wait for the next. This story is so important.

If you are producing a podcast, first learn a thing or two about storytelling. The podcast keeps hopping from one thing to another without any semblance of coherence.
