This is wonderful! We need all the help we can get to combat the wackos.

Skeptoid was the first podcast I discovered way back in 2007 while playing around with my new iPod. Since I never skipped an episode, not even the ones where Brian sings!

Pugs are some of the best dogs a person can ask for. In this short horrible life Pugs are sweet, friendly, have zero aggression and enjoy life. They make the world a better place .My pug breathes just fine is pampered more than most humans. Your podcast is trash you pompous clown.

I’ve been listening to Brain for a few years now and it’s always interesting how his stories unfold. It’s also a good podcast if you want to know more about American local folklore. Keep up the good work. We need more sceptical minds like yourself.

I don’t trust anything a convicted fraudster claims and nor should you. Google Brian Dunning EBay fraud and find out for yourself.

Brian Dunning is an excellent podcast host, quite knowledgeable and witty in a sardonic way. He suffers no fools gladly. My only issue is this show so thoroughly debunks popular misconceptions and urban legends that it will ruin every fun topic like Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster with logic...Read full review »

I really like the episodes on less sensational topics like “surveys and polls” and “how to change a conspiracy theorist’s mind”. Big foot, chupacabra, and UFOs are fun but there are more subtile issues to direct our critical attention toward.
Jmmillett via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/12/23
Excellent, well researched podcast. Each topic is given a deep dive and the results are fascinating.
Abrasrose via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/30/23
The streaming service picks the ads! The show has no say in what the ads are. (The exception are the ones where is Brian doing the talking. Those are mostly about other things he does.)
Lord Anthony Navarre via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/19/23
I feel like this podcast sometimes picks and choses “facts” to suite its narrative. The Brazilian ufo case all he doing is reading official government reports. Muginio was confused as a space creature? Come on, the girls have no reason to make this up, the picture drawn certainly doesn’t look...Read full review »

This is my only “must listen now” podcast. Always informative and insightful and a great palliative to what pops up on most of the Web. I also appreciate the humor that is always present along with the willingness to say “We just don’t have an answer.”

Always a great show but Brian Dunning may very well be in league with the mosquitoes (as a recent episode revealed), so do be mindful of his pro-mosquito bias.

I find almost all of these episodes to be interesting, informative, and fun. But when Brian gets into sneering at people about preferences for organic and non-GMO foods, he really annoys me.

Along with The SGU, Skeptoid is the best source for unbiased, science based investigation of all manner of mysteries, folklore and historical incidents. Be skeptical!
LaughingSoHappy via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/09/22
Skeptoid covers an interesting array of topics, many of which I would credit it for introducing me to. The host champions the scientific method and empiricism, and calls himself a skeptic. I would characterize him as a debunker instead. Mr. Dunning will (typically after an intro ad or plea for...Read full review »

Dunning comes off with the booming voice of an authority, but his ability to separate fact from scientific snowjob is weak.
