ride the fast forward
Surprising tolerance for Christian/religious stories now and then. Host is unctuous, insipid, narcissistic and grating, but can be fast forwarded through quickly (though his hypnotism story is quite good). He is a great curator, and seems to be the driving force behind the organization. Podcast would be better if he did not front it, or tempered his part with a cohost. Frequently fantastic stories, has a moral center - (unlike "Risk" with Kevin Allison which features despicable people now and then). I recommend, but be prepared to flee through fast forward now and then.Read full review »

My only question is can they keep this up. I laughed, I cried, I hollered, I whooped. Listen when I tell you - this is the best podcast on iTunes. Bar none.

This is great storytelling. Glad the show is proving popular - look forward to this every week. The live show recording was excellent - different styles, but all compelling.

One of my three favorite podcasts, along with This American Life and Radiolab. Fresh, hip and fun.
