The content is so interesting but I just can’t listen as the speed of the dialogue is so fast. So off putting I had to stop after first few minutes.

Such an important conversation. Appreciate these open and innovative conversations

Wonderful podcast but I’ve definitely had to stop some episodes because of the politician bashing. 50% of the country is on the other side - those topics are unnecessary in a sober curious podcast. It almost makes me unable to finish the episode. 🇺🇸

Ruby is a fresh voice who is able to explore openly and connect with each guest as she talks about topics we are all curious about. By being open and exploring this way she is creating a path towards self acceptance and healing. I love this podcast.

I’ve been sober for three weeks, knowing I wasn’t an alcoholic but knowing drinking wasn’t right for me anymore. I found it very difficult to communicate my decisions and feelings, but Ruby has summed it up PERFECTLY. Thank you so much for helping me, can’t wait to keep listening

Older episodes of this podcast were hugely helpful for me in early sobriety. The Holly Whitaker interview was life-changing and set me on my path. I feel like in the past year, this podcast has become more about anti-racism and wokeness than sobriety, so I've tuned out. I turn to other...Read full review »

The admittance of the imperfections of herself and others, yet quickly admonishing political figure(s) as imperfect and bashing their actions. Not a particular fan personally of those mentioned, but they themselves are imperfect. I didn’t tune it to hear the bashing of politician(s) or...Read full review »

I just want to say how much this podcast series has helped me on my sobriety journey! I decided to try going a year without alcohol just before discovering this podcast. Tuning in each week became my non- drinking ritual and I honestly felt so supported and seen and it gave me the strength to...Read full review »

I was so excited to discover Ruby had an on-going podcast after finishing her book, Sober Curious. I’m so grateful for this resource to continue such an important conversation that expands beyond just alcohol consumption into self inquiry. I look forward to every new episode!

I really love listening to your podcast as it inspires me to take the next step. I’ve battled with my thoughts and feelings on alcohol for a while so your podcasts give me clarity and gives me (as sad as it sounds) hope to give up altogether as I know I would be operating on a higher frequency....Read full review »

I look forward to new episodes of this podcast every week. It is about so much more than just not drinking (or pondering the idea of not drinking). As I approach 1.5 yrs of being sober curious (and 9 months of consecutive abstinence, woo hoo!), I've found that I no longer want to talk...Read full review »

Learn about yourself as you learn about others and our differences but more fascinating - our similarities! Ruby is a straight shooter that not only tells it like it is, but doesn’t hesitate to share the embarrassing details of her own struggles. It’s all about health, peace and happiness - and...Read full review »

Hey Ruby! As a fellow Brooklynite and raver, please bring back the music from the previous season! It was unique and groovy. It made me feel like the cool sober person I am. Now it sounds like everything else. Keep up the good work! Thanks for all you do Ellie

I am a new listener to this podcast and I was really interested in the McKown interview. However I had to stop listening because of the “mmmms” that the host verbalized in response to almost every statement made by McKown. It is super distracting and almost sounds like she has tape over her...Read full review »

I was keenly interested in this Episode as I have recently heard of Ms Whitaker’s work. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get through it. When people overuse use the word ‘like’’in conversation, I find it incredibly distracting. It takes away from the intelligence of the conversation and doesn’t serve...Read full review »

I really enjoy the content of this podcast and the guests but it is incredibly distracting how often Ruby makes mouth sounds like “mmm” and “hmm” - every couple seconds! This is loud in the mic and feels like constant interruption.

I read and listened to Ruby’s book, ‘Sober Curious’ many times. It was the first resource I used to start my journey to remove alcohol from my life. Ruby is such a perfect podcast interviewer/host! Always nice to listen to her conversations with people, she is so attentive to little details and good with timelines, which is I think really important in this kind of “storytelling”. And her laugh is sooo cute! The topic of sober curiosity is...Read full review »

Just discovered and already hooked on all episodes! Thanks Ruby, for such an informative and also entertaining Podcast. I can confirm the described benefits by own experience and it feels good to listen to you shedding even more light on that and solutions for potential challenges in the journey.

This is a rating for the podcast with Jen Bachelor of kin euphorics. I really felt like I was listening to “a placement product podcast” (very common these days, sadly) and I honestly don’t think we need outrageously expensive non alcoholic cocktail mixes to socialize!!
