I love this show because it puts you in the middle of a puzzle and gives you everything you need to figure out a fun mystery but doesn’t spoon-feed the solution to you either. There are very subtle clues so every sound and word choice is intentional. Endings are satisfying and clever. I love how...Read full review »

The description says true crime but it’s not...it’s scripted. No thanks!

Where did solve go???

5 stars for season 1. They changed the format for season 2 and you don’t get to figure out who committed the crime. Stories were good but took all the fun out of listening.

I listened to all of the episodes in season one and I loved how we got to know the suspects at the end, and solve it ourselves. Please bring the format back!

I really like this podcast, the whole idea of solving the crime was very unique. I don’t understand why y’all changed it. Still liked season two but it’s not any different then any other theater podcast.

Love love love this podcast. Don’t have the time to commit to the longer storylines. Bring back season 1 format!!!!

I preferred season 2- less awkward. When is season 3 coming out??
Gbg823 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/29/21
I found both seasons binge-worthy. The first season was good because of the interesting stories. Solving them was not difficult only so much you can do using audio.. The second season was better. The short stories were well written, engaging, produced well. The characters were fully formed. ...Read full review »

I enjoy the layout, the crimes, trying to figure out who does what and also trying to figure out what the original crime is ❤️🥂

I loved season one and was literally jumping for joy when season two came out. When I realized e didn’t get to solve ourselves I was so disappointed, especially after listening to THREE episodes! Please bring back the season one format!

These are a fun concept, season 1 and 2 are different but I enjoyed them both. They are done (well) as radio dramas.
lizt26 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/26/21
I would definitely give season 1 5 stars! The set up and clues given were more engaging to solve. Season 2 has great story lines, and told more of a story. I just liked having the clues to solve.

So I loved season 1 when season 2 came out I didn’t listen at first I wanted the series to be over so the anticipation wouldn’t kill me. Then I started seeing the reviews so I got nervous but those reviews are stupid! We get way more episodes now with different stores. They’re so good! I loved...Read full review »

Season two gave good storylines but season one allowed you to solve the crime. If there is a way to combine them and still let us solve it that would be preferred. Otherwise season one is the preferred format.
Nic Robinson via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/19/21
I loved both seasons 1 and 2! Season 1 gives you a chance to solve the mystery, and season 2 has really good stories! I wish the episodes came out all on one day and not over the course of 3 weeks, but it's worth it to me!Read full review »

Season 1 was awesome and you can actually have a chance to solve the murder. Season 2 story lines are good but i miss the chance to solve or guess with the hidden clues.. season 2 is not as good as the first..
xdaegxsg via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/16/21
Aye Have to agree that Season 1 was so, so good. 5 stars. I loved how it also had a bit of a true crime tied in. Season 2 while good with storytelling, is not so good at giving out clues or being truely solvable...which is literally what this podcast is based about. Solving. 2 stars.
IMD423 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/12/21
Season 1 was fun because you are given clues to solve the murder. Season 2 is just a crappy audio Law & Order knockoff. I’m very disappointed.
lilollinz via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/09/21
Season two was an utter letdown. Season one was amazing and brought back my childhood evenings in my grandparents house as I would fall asleep to old radio show reruns like the shadow. My husband would sit and listen with me the night the show came out and loved figuring out who did it. Now...Read full review »

(2-star rating is for season 2. Based on season 1 alone, my rating would have been 4 or 5 stars) Season 1 had two things going for it: - Each episode was it’s own full story, from start to finish - The listener had the opportunity to try to figure out who committed the crime The first is a...Read full review »

I’m sorry I love love this podcast but I’m sorry I love the first season way better cause I got to play the detective. Now it’s basically a long story divided in 3. And worst part having to wait for a whole week basically forgetting what happen before. And in the end not even getting the chance...Read full review »

I loved season 1 and would have given this 5 stars if season 2 kept the same format. I was so excited for season 2 to get here until I listened to the first set of episodes. What made season 1 fun was figuring out who the killer was. This podcast should go back to that.

Not so crazy about the second season where it’s the serial.
Freofan13 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 02/04/21
season 2 gives you nothing to solve
kaylaflore :) via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/04/21
Season 1 was interactive, short and sweet. Season 2 episodes are lengthy, stretch out for weeks and have me forgetting what I’m listening to and the plot, storyline, characters... it’s an entirely different podcast. And it’s solved on its own, without engaging the listener.
Buster Doohickey via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/03/21
I like season 1 because it stopped shortly before the end and questioned your conclusion and gave the crucial piece of evidence....I liked season 2 because there was more plot and character development. It would be super easy to combine the 2 for an awesome show!
Dajacketfan via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/03/21
Loved the first season, but I really enjoy how the second season has seemed to evolve how they ‘solve’ each crime. And I enjoy the multiple parts a lot more than I thought I would! Great podcast.
Jk.w via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 02/02/21
I don’t really know why Season 2 has nothing to solve. Characters/suspects are introduced moments before the crime is figured out, there’s really nothing to solve or look forward to at the end, which I don’t enjoy. The story lines and writings are definitely not as great for Season 2. It’s really...Read full review »

I really love this podcast! The actors and actresses are very good. I do wait for the end of a series before I listen so I can binge. I am not patient enough to listen a week at a time.
michaels magic threadworks via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/01/21
I don’t know why the format changed - the first season was awesome trying to figure out who did it! 2nd season is ok but I wish the way it was originally portrayed would return.
Kimberlilee via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/01/21
I agree season 1’s formula was better and new listeners think they’re getting that going into season 2, which 2 is fine, but misleading.
Onefahq via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/01/21
I liked the try and solve yourself before the killer is revealed. Season 1 format got me to relisten and interact more with other friends to figure out whodunit.

I really enjoyed the season 1 format. Please bring back the season 1 format. I don’t really care for season 2.
Brown Fist via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/31/21
Why would change the format? The whole thing that set you apart was making it interactive.. not worth season 2. And moving on to the next podcast

Season one was definitely better.
ajw2018 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/27/21
Season 1 was great, season 2 lost me completely...not sure if it’s new writers or what but total change of course. Big bummer.
HannaJune0209 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/27/21
I enjoyed trying to guess and find clues through the story and recap at the end. Although the stories are still good. Season 1 was more entertaining.
crysmattic via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/25/21
Edited to add - the second season is a very different format to the first, with the cases being stretched over three episodes and less of a "Okay, who do you think did it?" moment. I have to be honest that I preferred the original format. I'm really enjoying the episodes! The voice...Read full review »

Season 1 was awesome, got to try my hand at solving real crimes. Season 2 has been like a totally different podcast. There is no investigation it’s just story telling. Unsubscribed today because I got tired of waiting for it to get better.

I love this concept! Sure the acting is a little cheesy at times... but it keeps me engaged throughout every episode. Season 1 is really good- please go back to that format. The whole point was to solve!
isabellaport24 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/21/21
Please stop with making each story 3 episodes. 1 episode 45 minutes with everything , this format is terrible.
Reviewer1085 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/21/21
First off season 1 was so fun! Absolutely loved it, couldn’t wait for more. Season 2 was disappointing because it is more of listening to a story than an interactive listen where we actually get to solve it. Also having it be different parts is hard because you forget the info from the week...Read full review »
