“There’s so many bad reviews against these women’s stories.
People don’t realize that even if something truly obscene happens to you, there’s not equal legal repercussions for the person who committed the crimes. The law does not take abuse seriously.
These stories for as ‘repetitive’ as they seem, happen all the time in subtle or blatant ways but are not talked about because people get dismissed as ‘overreacting’ or ‘being sensitive’.
This podcast is the only way individuals can share their stories, find validation in their pain, and in extreme cases, speak up loud enough to get law enforcement to take abuse seriously.”
