“This show has me frustrated, annoyed and yelling at my ipod because of what the hosts are saying most episodes that is for sure, their constant nit picking of current comics is not is a feeling not shared by me.. so why do i give them a positive rating and why do i keep listening.. . 1)because they are extremely knowledgeable on their spidey history and have a good chemistry of hosts. 2) its good to listen to opinions that ain't my own, it forces me to justify in my head why i am liking an issue (sometimes i can and sometimes they are right and i cant ) i do love how in depth they go 3) its not all current talk, their flashback at stories past is were this show shines, these guys truly love spidey of days gone by and it shows. One of the hosts ( george i believe is his name ) is the only reason i don't give these guys the full 5. i feel this man is too negative and seems to go out of his way to be so, normally i'd get over just that be at a certain point he stops reading books but still seems to go out of his way to trash them often with weak and in-factual comments. i'm fine with people dropping books because they are not enjoying but i dislike people putting down works they haven't read. Don't let this distract from you listening to what is otherwise a fine podcast and probably one of the most honest (although take with a grain of salt cause not always correct ) comic podcasts. an interesting companion piece to your spider-reading”Read full review »
