“I agree with VotumSeparatum, among many many other reviewers. I'm a huge lover of Astrophysics and all things cosmically related, but the Cohost Lynn really detracts from the overall quality of the show. Many times I'll find myself getting lost (in a very good way) in the easy to understand scientific explanations Dr. Tyson gives about the stars, black holes, time travel, space travel, and the like. Only problem is half way into his wonderfully insightful speaking, a shrill voice interrupts only to hurry him on to "get to the point" or start making snoring noises, which is BEYOND annoying. I really hate to give the podcast a low star rating but the unfunny, knowledge obstructing Fran Drescher wannabe makes this show almost completely unlistenable. I've listened to about 5 episodes now and I'm going to try to stay on board as long as possible out of sheer love of the subject matter and the wonderful way the good Dr. Tyson relays it to me, and just hope beyond hope Lynn lets him do so without interruption and backs off a bit with the nerd bashing, rude comments.”Read full review »
