Who knew that I actually loved science!!!
I am a small business owner in Ontario Canada and listen almost exclusively to podcasts when I'm driving for work - and I do a TON of driving! I have developed a very keen interest in how I can age in the most heathy and vibrant way possible. This is in part because I am now middle-aged (54) and also because I am terrified of winding up like my parents are at the moment (much love to both of them). They are relatively sedentary and seem to have resigned themselves to the fact that they are old and should just wait to die. No thanks! I want to go sliding into my grave one day yelling, woohoo that was a great ride! I am very active (crossfit 3 to 5 times per week and really do focus on eating as healthy as I can. Somehow, I feel like fate brought me to Stem Talk and boy oh boy, once I started I blew through all of your shows (right from the beginning) in about 3 weeks. What I discovered about myself somewhat surprisingly is that I love hearing about the cutting edge science and research into nutrition, aging and fitness. You have a way of thoughtlyfully and methodically breaking down the information in a way that I can understand and perhaps more importantly share with my friends and loved ones. I am so excited by each episode that it's become somewhat of an obsession for me. Your show has helped me in countless ways. I can't thank you enough for what you do. It's critically important to folks out here like mewho are trying to weed through the crap we hear in the media and unfortunately what we hear from uninformed nutritionists and health care providers. You're doing a very good thing!Read full review »

If you think three meals and two snacks a day is optimal eating and you want to keep thinking that, don’t listen to this...Read full review »

Love the interviewees, and love the podcast topics. Only thing I would change, is make sure the interviewers have their guests simplify some of the more complex subjects (e.g., episode 12). Tim ferris does a great job at that. Other than that, the double secret committee is doing a great job at...Read full review »
