This week I am joined by Brandon Swan. He is a husband and father, and also a five-time CrossFit Games athlete, a firefighter, and the founder of Dad Hours.
We had a great chat, initially discussing all about what Dad Hours and how it came to be. We then jumped into Brandon's story, talking about his upbringing, his competitive nature, and his journey to competing at the CrossFit Games. We chat about some of the challenges he has been through after a few years competing at the pinnacle of the sport before he missed out on the Games, and how he worked through that disappointment.
Our conversation then moves to his decision to become a firefighter, and how his training has evolved as he has shifted from a full-time athlete to being a father with a full-time job. I love his approach to fitting in training and I think you will too.
Enjoy the episode!
