“Ever since my daughter recommended a specific episode I have been hooked on the Swindled podcast. The host refers to himself as a Concerned Citizen and does not reveal his identity. He sounds a lot like comedian Nathan Fielder to me but that is neither here nor there. Each episode is proceeded by a mini story of which the subject pertains to the subject of the main episode. I love this idea and it certainly whets the appetite for the main story. Each episode appears to be thoroughly researched and provides a lot of detail but despite the often weighty topics, the flow is well paced and at times suspenseful. While almost all episodes deal with serious matters and crimes the host occasionally interjects with a well timed snarky comment or humorous observation. Highly recommended listening!”
