One of the best dev podcasts, and can be be the best with some tweaks.
Syntax is one of my favourite podcasts, it's actually the podcast that got me into podcasts in general and I listen religiously every week.. but (a bit of constructive feedback) I've felt lately that the content is lacking any depth.. Wes and Scott are talking about some subjects 'for the sake of it' .. I get at this point it may be difficult to deliver meaningful talking points every, single, week but the delivery in some areas has room for improvement. Take the "How would we build..." episode. I envisaged the hosts would weigh up different tech and put forward good arguments for going down a certain path but basically just said "I would choose NODE because it's my primary language" .. I think this is sort of a given, it doesn't give any value to your listeners, who would, in the same position, use the tool that they were most fluent in. Tl;dr: stop skimming important subjects and put a bit of effort to your delivery. You guys are awesome, have great chemistry and can give a lot of value to your listeners.Read full review »

Totally worth the listen. I'm an intermediate developer so I really liked it: it wasn't to advanced and pointed to me some cool things.Read full review »
