“Rachel Hart did an amazing job of describing how labels, such as alcoholic and sober can have such negative connotations and group individuals into stereotypes that may not apply to individuals! There are so many variables and differences in everyone and labels do not share those characteristics. The one example that really stood out to me was about a person labeled disabled! She described that her environment was disabling her, turning the situation completely around and removing the label on the person to that of the environment. I came away thinking we should never label anyone. We are all unique in our own characteristics and should be acknowledged for them! Eye- opener podcast!”
