Great Mission, Poor Execution
I absolutely love that this type of podcast exists, but the podcaster (Erin, I think) comes off as kind of judgmental, a bit of a lecturer, and, well, kind of arrogant. Some of the information is really useful and I'm pretty sure she isn't these things, but her tone and pattern of speech make it come off that way. It is a turnoff. I'm very pro midwife, natural labor, et al, but I probably won't listen to any more episodes. I feel like I'm being lectured to and I agree with a lot of what she says. It is bound to turn off people who are just looking into this line of thinking. I'm giving it three stars because I think this topic needs to be more accessible to the masses and hope it improves. Otherwise I would give it a one or two star rating :(Read full review »
