At first it was really interesting but how many time can you take Steve talk about pizza, a good pour, or some other banal topic? Steve completely derails Michael when he brings up interesting ideas or theories about the show. Steve has made the show unlistenable.

This has proved one of the rare shining moments during this pandemic. For a Sopranos fan or anyone interested in the behind the scenes of modern show business, it’s a treasure trove of anecdotes, tidbits & education Our host’s personalities are engaging and hearing them esp. when they...Read full review »

Michael thinks hes so woke but hes just a dummy that is willing to say anything to get another respectable gig in Hollywood

The show content is very good because they follow the storyline of a masterpiece of a show but the two guys seem to be very passive aggressive about each other. If they like each other, it doesn’t seem it. They don’t have a good dynamic, it feels like a forced relationship because of their...Read full review »

Micheal is amazing Steve on the other hand, when he’s not cutting people off or repeating what was just said he’s banging his hands on the table or flicking notes around.

I loved the TV show The Sopranos, and this podcast does a pretty good job reviewing the series. More importantly, this show highlights the difference between intelligent TV writers like Mr Imperioli and dumb actors like Mr Shirripa. Mr Shirripa is one of the worst podcast hosts I’ve ever...Read full review »

I’m a fan since the beginning of the whole thing and this is a great podcast. Down to earth and touches on everything good about each episode discussed. Steve and Michael and all the guest cast members bring back great memories. I miss the show and James as a human being and acting genius. But I...Read full review »

I enjoy listening to your podcast. I have watched The Sopranos many times. I own the entire series and I have been watching each show before the podcast. By far my favorite show of all time and I enjoy reliving the shows with you both. Thank you.

this is great and the little tension they have between them is hilarious

Where to begin with Baccala…I mean, Steve Schirippa actually chides Michael for analyzing the episodes. His contribution to the show essentially brings and ends with his belief that mayonnaise plays some unspecified role in the show—DESPITE THE FACT THAT DAVID CHASE TOLD HIM IT DIDN’T. Honestly,...Read full review »

My favorite podcast. I love this podcast. I’m going to be sad when it’s over. Kind of like when the Sopranos series was over. Michael likes to poke the bear(Steve).

This podcast offers great and fascinating insights into this richly textured show. The dialogue between Michael and Steve is hilarious at times, always informative, and never reeks of pretentious “fanboy” ism. Still waiting for the battle of wits between Steve and the Dolphin.

I re-watch the series every few years. The podcast adds a fascinating new dimension to the experience — especially during the pandemic. Great interviews — David Chase priceless. I loved the Sopranos and have watched it twice. Michael and Steve do a great job with this podcast and adding the guests has been a real plus. I also enjoy all the other banter as well including how difficult it is to create and sell a TV show, the New Jersey Devil, and being a Big Daddy! Somehow...Read full review »

Most listen to podcast for Soprano fans!!! One critique: The length of the ads is awful. Gotta find a way to get through the ads faster. If anything it makes me not want to use whatever service they are peddling.
KJetland via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/07/21
But between the lengthy ad reads and double interviews, the episodes could be half as long and twice as good. Maybe consider releasing two episodes a week, one with the sopranos episode recap and another with the interviews? Plus, nothing new here but Steve can be quite obnoxious.
