“I recommend this show for anyone with an open mind to new ideas. When I first listened and got my mind blown I tried to tell all my friendss and got some wierd looks. It takes a very open mind to approach some of this material. I'm not saying my relationship with my wife hass changed, but I feel I have better understanding of what are normal, healthy impulses and lost the guilt of articulating them. Very helpful to me.
I have one small criticism that I must lay. Dr. Ryan politically seems to identify with the left being more free than the right. I understand that in sexual issues that the left may use better rhetoric but I have seen democrats control both houses and the presidency and do little to improve gay, drug, and a myriad of other rights. In addition, as a long time libertarian, the idea of the left right pardigm is for me too containing. Much like sex, pollitics has more than two sides. It's a small critique but hey it's mine.
I highly recommend the show and look forward to learning more about my animal past!
