I’m wondering who at Canadaland thought “hey, let’s get a food writer to interview chefs while they eat!” was a good idea. I mean, yeah, let’s listen to them chat around a mouthful of dumpling. That’s what my audio landscape was missing.

I really love this concept. The host Corey and some guests don’t mix that well with some of the female guests early on - they have great rapport - but the host allows the male guests to interrupt, joke and talk over very interesting origin stories and moments. I am a waiter at a local high end restaurant and I thought this would be a very chef focused podcast but it’s for everybody. I seriously cannot wait for more episodes. I love everything about this podcast and now most of the kitchen I work with has heard the new episode
