Eddie Lenihan needs his own tv show, or at least his own radio show. I could listen to him all day. He is a national treasure and I’ve just bought some of his books and cds so I can enjoy more of this amazing man’s stories. Simply no one like him. 10/10

I can't emphasize enough how important oral traditional storytelling is in order to keep the cultural traditions of Ireland alive. Those stories are really interesting, some of them were used to teach children a lesson, to guide or educate them. Nonetheless, they are not only interesting as...Read full review »

I love listening to not only the information that Eddie has gathered together but his thoughts on how things have changed, on how we may look at things differently now than in the past, and so on. I also just love the way he talks. It isn’t like listening to an academic, someone removed from the...Read full review »

I love listening to this, but I can only do it in a completely silent room with no ambient noise because otherwise I can't make out what he's saying even with my earphones on top volume. Can whoever produces this please make it louderRead full review »

Eddie voiced my favourite children’s story tapes of Irish folk tales some 30 years ago. His voice ignited my imagination as a kid. I was so excited to see he had a podcast. These stories are incredible, and beautifully told by a master of storytelling. Eddie, please record as many of the stories...Read full review »

Truly a masterful storyteller and narrator. His ability to paint Irish stories and tales with words is amazing, and his mission to preserve them is deeply commendable. Absolutely worth it.

I love this podcast and the stories of old. My only problem is with the sound levels. Sometimes the voice is so low I have to turn the volume up to full blast. Then of course it comes back at normal volume and blasts my ears away. I’m guessing these are old recordings but I hope some technical...Read full review »
