In reflection while watching episodes, I have been looking back on my own career so far, and the skills I’ve developed.  I have been hearing more and more of teenagers, like cousins, and even at birthday parties, say that they simply don’t know what they want to do with their career. When I hear this, I realize: That was me, I was that kid.  In reflection while hearing these episodes, I have been looking back on my own career so far, and the skills I’ve developed.  Although I never thought I would fall into sales and marketing, my path has turned me into a very well-rounded employee  My various experiences have allowed me to learn from a variety of industries, and skills, that I can now incorporate that knowledge I’ve learned into my clients. In today’s episode, I wanted to reflect on these jobs, and the high-level lessons I’ve learned that makes me who I am today.  The big takeaway is this: The skills that I have developed and can incorporate into my existing work are far more important than the actual title that I had.  You can’t predict the future, and 5 years ago, I would have never known where I am today, which is the same exact situation kids are in when they make their future decision to go to college.  It is crucial to focus on that skill development, because it is the foundation for your future success.  Thank you so much for your support.
