Description
Today we are talking about tip #2 for balancing business and life when things get hectic, which is, Don’t Let Others Demand Too Much of You.   Some people think that business owners have it easy because nothing is expected of them… but this idea is ENTIRELY false, as you know! Business owners have an entire business full of people who are looking to them for answers, directions, and information. Much of what your business does hinges on what you do, which is why it can be so easy for people to demand more of you than is fair. Remember to schedule times when you will be ‘out of reach’ of the demands of others. After all, there is only one of you… while you might have MANY employees. They all get days off too, so don’t feel bad about giving yourself some time off. Consider saying ‘No’ to getting involved with too many obligations every time someone asks you to.  You can always say ‘Yes’ later when the timing is better.    Tune in tomorrow for Tip #3 for balancing life and business when things get hectic.   I’m the author of many books, including, Excuses Don’t Count; Results Rule, Live Life with No Regrets, No Excuses, The Guide to Stopping Procrastination, The Power of Visualization, My Gratitude Journal, the Work Life Balance Emergency Kit, and The Roadmap To Success with Stephen Covey and Ken Blanchard, and more.     Aim for what you want each and every day!   Anne Bachrach The Accountability Coach™
