“I can’t remember what show it was, but I just typed in “help with a breakup” or something like that and some random podcast came up. I clicked on the show and started listening and Michelle Chalfant was the guest.
It was a life- changing half hour for me and I immediately downloaded the adult chair and started listening afterwards. The way Michelle talked about attachment styles and the three types of chairs really helped me to not only recognize how I was feeling, but why I was feeling the things that I did. This was deep, childhood- rooted, unresolved trauma that was suppressed for decades.
Shortly afterwards, I signed up for therapy. It’s been about six months since I started this journey and it’s helped my relationships with friends, family, coworkers, and probably most importantly, my relationship with myself.
I feel the healthiest that I’ve ever felt in twenty- nine years of life. I’m now in touch with my own emotions, I understand why other people act the way that they do, and it’s all because i randomly heard Michelle get interviewed on some other podcast. Thank you for doing this, Michelle. It truly has changed my life for the better.”
