Ade speaks with this week’s special guest, Dr Israa Siddig, a specialist doctor in Women’s Health. She has over 12 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the NHS. The two discuss the concerns of and offer advice to pregnant women during the pandemic with a particular focus on Black women. They also talk about the facts that Black people are disproportionately affected by Covid-19 and that Black women are 5x more likely to die during childbirth and what needs to be done to address this.
