Thank you SO MUCH for the opportunity to learn and share with you via this new venue! The Dahlia Lithwick and Matt Miller episode was brilliant. It's like normal people talking about stuff! What a concept! I'm trying to share your show with FB and Twitter friends so you'll hopefully see your numbers skyrocket soon. I think I have 4 friends on the former and several more on the latter!
On a personal note, you may actually recall meeting me in the parking lot of your live Air America remote broadcast from a small theater downtown Phoenix back in the day. I had arrived early for lack of a life and, because you and your colleague parked WAY at the far end of the lot ala the Griswalds at Wally World so you'd be the first ones out after the show, I spotted you getting out of the car and I came barrelling at you full speed just to shake your hand. Luckily it's before you required Secret Service protection or I probably wouldn't be here.
In closing, I'm an Eveleth, MN H.S. graduate of '72 and I appreciate your intimacy with the Iron Range. Your solemn picture paying respect at Senator Wellstone's crash site/memorial was especially poignant. Last time I was there, I left a Bernie Sanders bumper sticker on his granite tribute!

“This podcast is great. Although I have to admit I would enjoy Al talking about mixing cement. His dry wit is not for everybody. I just hope he doesn’t make any lewd gestures toward the microphone. Gillibrand might have him kicked off the air.”
