Adam effortlessly weaves reviews of classic (often obscure B films) and episodes of Old Time Radio. His charm and wit elevate this podcast to the very top of the pile.

If you are feeling low, listen to the Brighton Strangler episode. Seems counter intuitive based on the title, but Adam dissolving into laughter when describing the ludicrous plot and earnest dialogue, is probably my favorite bit of podcast joy there out there today.

Highly enjoyable love letter to old Hollywood, film noir, obscure movies and lost to radio shows. The host, though a gifted writer and archivist, fancies himself a comedian of sorts, and he repeats the same weak jokes and songs every episode. It’s truly cringe making and just invites the skip...Read full review »
