Thank you for making this podcast. It validates what I went through coming off of Klonopin. I had soooo many PCP doctors tell me my withdrawal symptoms were just in my head. It’s also helpful for my spouse who is about to embark on his own journey to kick Ativan. Keep up the good work!

D is an absolute treasure. You sensitivity and compassion have provided me with the support I need while working through the withdrawals associated with Benzo recovery. I’m still working through your vast amount of episodes. I dread the day that I’m fully caught up and have to wait for new...Read full review »

I enjoy listening to the episodes. A lot of helpful info for those coming off these drugs. I do wish there were some actual hopeful success stories. Three and a half years off Benzos and taking them again. Not terribly hopeful. I get excited to hear these podcasts and always end up feeling sad...Read full review »

I’m 18 months into my taper and my last dose will be October 4th. I’ve had every symptom you can imagine. I...Read full review »

I'm so happy to find your podcast. I'm 13 months off Benzos, cold turkey at a rehab last year. I'd love to share my story with you. I'm not well enough to leave my house but I'd love to help you somehow.Read full review »

I am in the early stages of my taper and I have already found out heaps of helpful and comforting advice here. I can imagine that this will be of enormous benefit as I travel through this difficult path and it feels like I have a friend on this journey that has already been there before me. This podcast is absolutely amazing. I have gotten more information in the past few hours than I have in weeks of trying to figure out how I was going to approach my special situation. You have given me a better understanding of what I am going through and will possibly go through and I can’t...Read full review »

Hi D, I so enjoyed the podcast this morning as I watched a beautiful sunrise from my back porch here in Oklahoma. It is so helpful to hear from others who are on the same journey as I am. Thank you so much for doing the podcast. It is a real blessing for me and others! Sandy

Anyone going through benzo withdrawal needs to listen to this. Reading about other people was a huge help but actually listening to someone talk about everything shined a light on everything I was dealing with. So thank you.

What a well done podcast. This information is presented non a way that is easy to understand and relatable. D’s soothing voice is a nice distraction. I recommend this for anyone going through anything related to benzos as the patent, caregiver, dr, etc. thank you!

I came across this podcast after being off benzodiazepines for close to 5 years. I’m still experiencing several ailments that I believe are still due to the damage done by this poison. I was on pretty much every possible brand name of them for more than half my life and to make a long story short...Read full review »

Anyone who has tried to taper off of benzodiazepines on their own knows that there is a real lack of knowledge regarding this process among medical professionals. Hearing the personal experiences of others and learning what we can do to minimize the risks of stopping these medications is invaluable.
