Make no mistake, this is a podcast about the business of hip hop. But not in the conventional sense, i.e, the bottom line. No it is about how people with a passion and a certain work ethic(hard/extremely hard work) turn that into a personal lane, that, in some instances, reached out and touched literally, millions. It shows you, not the rah rah or the blah blah, but how a passion can become your life(in a good way). Making moves, being in the right place at the right time, spotting opportunities. Entrepeneurship in it's purist form. It's like Joe Rogan does hip hop. Talking to luminaries who have shared stories and insights that go way deep into the human psyche. Not manipulation for personal gain. Everyone had a tribute for Doom but none spelt out anywhere near as eloquently as Chris and Sumit. These guys have read liner notes and tracked people down and let them tell their versions of this hip hop thing that i love. Filling gaps that no one knew were there. Onwards and upwards. The podcast that makes you believe that if you try from the heart great things can come. Is this the bit where i drop the 5 mics?! Breaking Atoms podcast, like a bag of gems each one of them 100 carats!Read full review »

One of the best new podcasts I’ve heard in 2018, this manages to be both hilarious and deeply informative in equal measures. These two drop street knowledge with a PhD level depth with a great dose of personality.
