TCC S2 EP14 "Are we just seeing the madness of our minds playing out in this world?"
Listen now
Description
With everything going on in the world, I wanted to talk more about the mental conflicts we encounter ourselves on a daily basis. Many of us are attached to our thoughts and we make decisions and take action based on our thoughts and beliefs. However, if we were to take a look at the landscape of our minds, we would immediately notice it is constantly in conflict. When you feel like it’s a yes, there is a no that follows. It’s like a shadow following you around constantly. Mental conflicts create internal fear which keeps us trapped and stuck. “Should I? Should I not? Is it right? Is it wrong? Do I ever change my beliefs?  Do I keep switching my mind on what needs to be done and said?” This most certainly affects our wellbeing but it does not stop there. Our mental conflicts are reinforced when we relate to others. This is why it’s important to evaluate each and every single one of your relationships in your life. From intimate relationships to broader ones. Are you in conflict with a parent? A sibling? A friend? The more love you have in your relationships, the greater the impact of change will be on the world. We cannot expect nations to be at peace when we are not at peace with our immediate loved ones. In this episode, I’ve come to the conclusion that wars are just beliefs butting heads. They are ideologies pitted against each other. Whoever has the most power and capital wins and ends up writing history. In this episode, I’ll be discussing what it means to decolonise your mind, and how what we are seeing happen in Palestine and Israel is a reflection of the state of man’s mind. mariaamiouni.com @maria.amiouni @thecosmicchannel @tambijj @thelunacommunity --- Edited and Mixed By sonorouslab.com
