“I really like this pod cast. I am pretty sure in the future after I listen to it more that I will give it even a higher rating. This podcast deals with a number of issues that are of interest to teachers and parents alike. Ms. Gonzalez shares a lot of insight and ideas about teaching and why she made some of the choices that she has made. I respect her ideas and am interested in seeing what else she explores in the future. For example she talks about what makes a Montessori school tick and makes it special and even though you could get a lot of this information through a book it may not be presented in such a clearly condensed version that gives the listener an overview and a guide on some ideas and questions to ask when reading more about this type of education. Also her sharing her rockier moments in teaching and her ideas about how she would have changed her behavior in hindsight provides an interesting guide to those who are dealing with children and how it doesn't always go perfectly, but that we too can grow as people working with children.
This podcast makes a good companion to her website because it sometimes fleshes out things that she talks about on her website or vice versa. Thank you for taking the time to do this podcast and your website. I sincerely hope that she will continue to keep up the good work and that more people will discover what she has to say and listens to her and gives her feedback and questions to help her continue her growth as teacher and person.
