Iron deficiency episode brought me in
Can’t wait to listen to more of this podcast. The information provided in episode #84 was invaluable and helped me understand more about why so many practitioners—even hematologists—are afraid of IV iron. I don’t think my doc would take kindly to being given a podcast to listen to, but I could share it with her without potentially offending her. Even with two IV iron infusions over three years, I have found maintaining my levels difficult because I have to wait for my ferritin to drop so low that I am non-functioning before an infusion is even discussed. Everyone is so afraid of iron overload.

More reviews of The Curbsiders Internal Medicine Podcast
Curbsiders does to IM what I thought only existed for EM: an informative and entertaining knowledge source. The show notes are also very thorough, worth glancing over after listening to an episode to grab the last bites of that knowledge food. Great job, guys!

Got hooked by a friend after I asked him if he had a go to reference for treating depression and he sent me a link to your podcast with DJ Commadore. I'm finishing my GI fellowship and this is an amazing resource to keep me up to date on my internal medicine foundation. Keep up the strong work.Read full review »

As a Physician Assistant student, this has been a great way for me to study while I drive to and from the hospital.
