Love listening on my drive into work, and if I can’t disconnect from a patient appt from the day, I’ll find the medically corresponding show to see how else I could be screening. I don’t think I’ve ever not liked a guest. It’s light-hearted, I laugh, I learn. What’s not to like?

As the title states, this podcast is both entertaining and educational at the same time. Some of the other medical podcasts are just too dry and serious which makes it hard to listen to sometime. I find these podcasts absolutely brilliant for a general internist. They hit exactly the right level - not too easy that you know it all from med school but not getting into the minutiae of the latest papers at the subspecialty level either. These guys do great job. I have been listening to this podcast for long time. Incredible amount of time and hard work has been put in. Mattress advertisement must be tough. I know this is not something that’s taught in med school or residency. All the best for many more years to come.

Introductions are fine but 10-15 minutes to do so is simply excessive, and the uppity attitude of the hosts gets tiring. This is such a great podcast and one I’ve been listening to for a few years. The show is overall good, but I think a bit simplistic where specialists come on to answer basic fundamental knowledge that an intern should know. I think it does a disservice as to what internists can do and manage. Perhaps having some higher level discussions at some point would be great.

I’m a current FNP student with a passion for primary care, and while I’ve learned a ton from this podcast’s wonderful hosts and knowledgeable guests, I can’t help but notice how often they speak as though physicians are the only people providing primary care.
