“Can we please stop pushing the idea that we must “believe all women” and that Amber Heard represents the #metoo movement. It flies in the face of what was obvious to those of us paying attention and using our common sense: She was lying! And btw - there are women and men who lie and use the court system to punish their partners. It happens everyday. The difference between Johnny Depp and all the other #metoo accused perpetrators is that where there is one, there are many victims. There was one supposed victim here in Amber’s story. But here’s the rub, to pretend that men cannot be victims, to act as though he was not abused and victimized many times by a woman because she’s a woman is what does damage to the #metoo movement. We should be able to allow someone to prove their innocence and give them their life back. That’s what he did. You HAVE GOT to stop peddling the Heard narrative! Please! Stop!
