More like The Interruptions
So much potential. I often find I try to go back to this podcasts because the topics and guest’s stories ARE genuinely so interesting! Hearing Zoe’s forced sultry voice asking if I have subscribed instantly reminds me why I get so annoyed. Alas I push on. BUT I barely finish the episodes due to how frustrating it is to listen to Zoe constantly interrupt the guests and/or link back their stories to relate to HERSELF? After reading other reviews I am clearly not alone in this. The most recent episode was the final straw - this poor lady is sharing the story of her child dying after being hit by a car, and Zoe interrupts to ask ‘did you feel like you had to get pregnant again asap’ basically asking did you want to replace your kid? Like….. The cringe I felt. My mouth literally dropped. Like girrrrrrrl really? Her interview style is so self centred and she seems to just want shock value and sounds like she is very inexperienced to be discussing such deep trauma. Such a shame as the actual topics and guests are brilliant.

Regardless the subject this podcast is inspiring and uplifting. Diving into “the deep” is relatable, honest and thought provoking. Well done on such a beautiful (even if the topic is not so beautiful) podcast...highly recommended and will be telling all my friends!

Powerful, emotive and thought provoking. And as a side note Zoe has the most fabulous speaking voice, I could listen to her talk all day! Well done!

Wonderfully real conversations with real people living their lives. Zoe’s empathetic and raw questions bring a warmth and joy to the sometimes shocking events these brave people share. A must listen, you won’t be disappointed
