“I admit I haven't really listened to very many old time radio podcasts, but this is a very fun listen anyway. It seems completely period to me, and yet they have these jokes and happenings which are obviously modern. They poke fun at themselves during the commercials, which are completely hilarious (they break into the middle of the show like the old time radio shows had commercials). And yes, Dixie is really loud, but that's OK, because she's got quite a temper on her. It's a really interesting concept and excellent writing, and it sounds like it would have fit in on a radio fifty years ago, too.”Read full review »
