Strangely Soothing
I absolutely love the Economist Radio podcast, and I happily recommend it to my friends all the time. During the pandemic, especially, as well as the fraught years of Trump’s presidency, The Economist Radio podcast has presented, I believe, an incredibly balanced perspective of current events. In a time in which the news media feels almost hysterically polarized, it is not only refreshing, but quite reassuring to hear different views presented calmly and rationally. Economist Radio feels like one of the few remaining bastions of reasonableness in the news, and I value this podcast so much for that reason alone. Incredibly high production values, thoughtful presenters, and exemplary writing make this an enjoyable listening experience overall. Five Thumbs Up
