Lost it’s way
Used to be a must listen for me but it has become near impossible to get through these days. The host has become a caricature of himself. He’s like a Northern Irish Tim Lovejoy with worse jokes. The format is so tired and every interview with any actor is so sycophantic it’s cringeworthy to listen to. I listened to the pod solidly for years but the main reason I stopped is James becoming a regular. Probably the most smug, humourless, charmless and boring contributor in any medium. The review section is ok but it seems ninety percent of films get three stars so you can skip it after a while. The spoiler specials can be interesting depending on the panel. Phil, Helen and Terri are usually good value. Just my opinion though so probably complete nonsense.
