big topics, cooked al dente. I find the interview format to be ill-suited for the Atlantic’s deepdive style, and frankly, less than entertaining. some episodes have a little of that production dazzle these kinds of podcasts try to emulate, but overall just feels Radiolab derivative (i think the host is radiolab alum?) and sparse. you’ll most likely just get the interview version of a more informative and polished Atlantic article, with gobs more naked opinion. hope this show gets better!
