Thanks guys for a succinct explanation of the longer fast. I have done intermittent fasting for years, but listened to a podcast about longer fasting and wanted more information and found you guys! I started last week with the intention of just going back to six and eight hour eating windows. Next thing, I know, with the help of science telling me at which hour what health benefits would occur I got inspired as a recent “cancer thriver” and a concussion and car accident 5 1/2 years ago. I’ve never felt better with regards to my brain injury, IBS, and, of course, the idea of building, new stem cells and to kill any little cancer cells that might want to invade again ! Currently at 93 hours. I feel amazing, strong, clear. I have been averaging 25,000 steps and 20 flights of stairs between yardwork and walking my dog. Sooo excited about learning next steps for how often to try this again!

I love this podcast because they provide excellent information in a reasonable amount of time. Other pods on this topic can be 2 hours long.

I have listened to two episodes & you haven't even told me what fasting is & what it isn't. I have no ideas on what your views on fasting are (do you think broth etc are permissible during a fast)? Not impressed!Read full review »
