Always interesting and engaging, Iain's the spokesman for the like of me who feel more than a little overwhelmed by the complexity of FM and who long for the simpler delights of CM. I'm not sure that the SI staffers are doing a great job in persuading me that, by adding ever more layers of complexity, FM becomes a better game. More realistic maybe, but more fun? Probably not.
