“This podcast covers politics in the same manner as CNN. Like a sport with the primary aim of entertaining rather than informing viewers.
This isn’t to say you should entirely write off the podcast. One of the hosts, Harry Enten is one of the best pollsters in the United States. As a result, the analysis of polls is second only to 538’s politics podcast. If they dropped the sports style coverage and replaced the other two hosts with serious pollsters it would be 5 stars.
Where the podcast fails, however, is an analysis of the political issues and an understanding of a broader context. The host's view is limited to a very narrow wealthy East Coast perspective. People who live outside this bubble may find it frustrating. On the other hand, if you are after what the mainstream perspectives in these circles are you may find value here.”Read full review »
