Great acting and sound, profanity is unnecessary
Foxes of Hydesville might be the best sounding and best produced QCODE podcast yet. Cary Mulligan is perfect as the lead and our narrator, taking us through an immersive world of spiritualism and skepticism. The overreliance on modern profanity, however, pulls me out of the story almost immediately. I'm not a prude, but the constant injection of the f and c words feels tonally jarring, especially as a period piece likely wouldn't be using modern slang.Read full review »
