Not Football Weekly.
It's certainly not a bad podcast, but in a podcast world inundated with football podcasts, this is a lesser example. The interviews are quite often boring, the commentators rather dry (are they reading off cue cards?), the humour scripted, and the guests pretty unspectacular. The Times is pretty late in the pod game and probably has a year or two to get this one up to standard. For my money, I like the Guardian's Football Weekly.Read full review »

Without Marcotti, this would be a great podcast, with him, it is an exceptional one. His wit endless, his commentary incisive and his passion for the game infectious, in a journalistic sense he is quite frankly a genius. I look forward to further enlightening broadcasts.
